About Me

My name is Andy Clarke. I are diver. I am 40+ years old, i drive (sorta) for a living, i play guitar and sing in a heavy metal band, i'm married to Kerri and have 4 too many cats, and 2 too many dogs.

I ARE DIVER

I started diving in Sept 2008 with PADI. All my training was conducted in the cold, dark water of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland; quite an experience!

Since then i have reached the dizzy heights of PADI Rescue Diver, PADI Nitrox, TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures, TDI Helitrox, GUE-F and GUE Tech1. I plan to continue my training as far as my wallet will allow; but it's funny i always seem to find cash for diving!

I created this blog as much for myself as anyone else. It is almost a glorified log book where i can keep track of my diving progression, dives, trips and gear. I also tend to ramble about scuba related things that boggle my brain, along with scuba reviews of various bits and bobs.

If any other divers or someone contemplating taking up the sport finds this of any use, that's great. Feel free to contact me about anything scuba, and link up on all the internet social things.

To be taken lightly.

Safe diving!
